Adding storage is cheap again. NVMe drives at 1TB and 2TB have slid to their lowest levels of the year, after months of swings tied to data-centre demand.
That's good news for two buyers in particular: people building or upgrading a PC, and anyone expanding console storage, where game libraries fill the base capacities fast.
Not all SSDs are equal, though, and the lowest price isn't always the best deal. For console drives, the right standard and a heatsink matter; on laptops, keep an eye on power draw.
How long this window lasts is hard to call: memory pricing has always swung, and a rebound in the coming months can't be ruled out.
